How do you think Aliens counteract inertia?

I've heard that to fly space ships at the speed of light aliens must have some kind of technology that prevents inertia from over taking them when the stop or land. English Pete - I'm convinced the truth is hidden somewhere in your answer.

  1. They travel through wormholes so they dont have to go too fast, hence inertia is not an issue.
  2. They don't. Inertia is a law of physics. It can't be counteracted.
  3. Who told you this? It's restricted information. Imagine that the universe is made of custard and you have a fishing rod that plays New York Dolls records. As you play the first track a small hole appears in your trousers through which the future slips. Without thinking about it you reach for another can of custard....there you go. Now don't tell anyone else.........
  4. There are no flying saucers, and there are no martians, so its a mute question. Don't you think that with all of the camcorders, and digital cameras, and cell phone cameras out there, that there would be many more images of "space ships" these days than back in the 40's and 50's? Back then most were just a hoax, and the rest were mis identified, and could have been anything.
