What areas in Phoenix have a lot of fast food restaurants and stores close together?

We are having to relocate to Phoenix and are wanting to live near a lot of conveniences. Like a street full of fast food places and various retail outlets. I have heard that some places don't have too many conveniences or they are too far spread out.

3. In Phoenix, the Arrowhead Mall area has a ton of fast food and shopping, etc. The houses in Arrowhead Lakes are really pretty, too!
4. Yeah, Phoenix is a bit spread out, making that inconvenient. But there's a few areas - Mill Avenue in Tempe, the Desert Ridge neighborhood at 101 and Tatum, the Biltmore area near 24th St. and Camelback, downtown Phoenix, downtown Scottsdale, the Melrose District on 7th Avenue that are like that.
